Each year a group of applicants to Pallotti, who are most outstanding in academics and leadership potential, are named Pallotti Scholars or Merit Scholars. The recipients of these scholarships will be chosen by the Admissions Committee and will be notified at the time of acceptance. No additional application is required. All applicants are eligible and are considered based on their HSPT score and review of their full admissions application packet. These scholarships are applied to the student's tuition for four consecutive years as long as the student maintains their GPA and student conduct.
As a Catholic high school, Pallotti supports families who are committed to a Catholic education and further development to preparing students for ethical leadership. Pallotti provided an annual award applied to the student's tuition over four consecutive years. This scholarship is automatically awarded to incoming Freshmen who have completed at least eight years of Catholic primary education including Kindergarten/1st grade through 8th grade.

Financial aid is available for students in grades 9-12 and is based upon documented need.
There are two financial aid programs available to offset the tuition expense for attending St. Vincent Pallotti High School. The Archdiocese of Washington and Pallotti have partnered with Tuition Aid Data Service (TADS) to process financial aid applications for the upcoming academic year. Complete one application, pay only one fee and have access to both resources.
To apply for need-based assistance from Pallotti, families must first apply to the Archdiocese of Washington. New students' families should complete admissions and financial aid applications concurrently; financial aid will only be awarded to students who have been accepted for admission.
A family's need for financial aid is determined each year based upon the recommendation of TADS. All parties in the household must be listed on the financial aid application including married, blended families, step parents, and/or those living together. The following are taken into consideration: income, assets, number of dependents, number of children enrolled in tuition schools as well as any unusual expenses.
In order to take advantage of this opportunity and apply for both the Archdiocese of Washington and Pallotti, you must submit your application and supporting documents to TADS by December 16, 2024. Receiving aid from either source does not guarantee financial assistance from the other. If you miss the December deadline, you can still apply for financial aid through Pallotti. If applying to Pallotti only, the application and supporting documents must be submitted to TADS by January 3, 2025. This applies to current students, not new applicants.
Families are encouraged to apply for financial aid at the time they submit their admissions application.

Panther for a Day (Shadow Program)
We are excited about meeting your student! We understand that the high school selection process can be a difficult one. An important part of that decision is finding a school where your student feels like they belong. Our Panther for a Day Program is a wonderful way for your child to get a feel for our campus environment and see our school from a student's perspective.
We begin these visits for 8th grade students on September 23, 2024 and continue until April 2025. Shadow visits run Monday through Thursday. The availability of certain dates changes rapidly, so requesting a date does not guarantee you will be scheduled for that date. You will receive a confirmation email within 72 hours of your submittal to confirm the scheduled date for the student's visit. Should you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Virginia Rinker by email at vrinker@datsumoki.net.
Please view the frequently asked questions and complete your shadow visit request form at least a week prior to the date you are requesting.
Your child will shadow a modified schedule including academic classes and one lunch period. They should be dropped off at 7:45 AM and picked up at 12:00 PM.
If your child attends a school that has a uniform, it should be worn during their visit to Pallotti. If not in uniform, appropriate clothing is required (comparable to what one would wear to church). No jeans, athletic wear or leggings are permitted. Face masks are required.
Yes! Your child will receive a $5 lunch voucher to be used in our cafeteria. The cafeteria offers a wide variety of items, but we are not a nut free facility. They are welcome to bring their own lunch if they prefer.
Yes, if there is a current student they would like to request as their host, please indicate on the request form under "Other" and we will do our best to accommodate the request.
Pallotti follows Prince George's County School District for closures, delays, and emergency closings. In the event of a delay, all shadow visits will be cancelled. In the event of a delay and closure, the Department of Admissions will contact you to reschedule.
Please contact the admissions office as soon as possible to reschedule or notify of your cancellation. Please email Virginia Rinker at vrinker@datsumoki.net and/or contact her by telephone at (301) 725-3228 Ext. 2302.
